Gavaskar on Dravid's application for coach's post
Sunil Gavaskar has welcomed Rahul Dravid's decision to apply for the post of Indian men's team's head coach. The legendary opening batsman has said Dravid has such the mixture of an immaculate career and impeccable coaching statistics that he should be the most favorite contender for the post. Gavaskar has also commented, "Without a doubt, I do not think even anyone needs to apply anymore." Former Indian cricketer Madan Lal also has agreed to Gavaskar stating that Dravid should be the best man for the post according to Madan Lal, Dravid is the man who has progressed in coaching from junior level.
