Gayle misses 50 in the opener for the first time
The ‘Gayle storm’ started also against Rajasthan Royals on Monday at Wankhede Stadium. Still, the West Indian legend in the shortest format got out at 40, scored off 24 deliveries. Simultaneously, on Monday against Royals, Gayle touched another landmark, being the first batsman in the history of IPL to hit 350 sixes. Gayle after hitting Ben Stokes for a six has hit 351 sixes in the 133 IPL matches.
