Gayle’s latest off-field antic, ‘Mogambo bohot khush hua’
Punjab Kings (PBKS) superstar Chris Gayle is enjoying his time in India as he has regained his form in the team’s previous match, scoring 43 off 35 balls. Gayle has several times entertained with his antics which have been hugely popular have off the field as well. The explosive left-hander was recently spotted pulling off late Amrish Puri's iconic dialogue – ‘Mogambo khush hua’ from Bollywood superhit Mr. India.
“Mogambo bohot khush hua,” Punjab Kings captioned the video of Gayle nailing the Hindi dialogue in training. Gayle recently played a match-winning knock of 43 runs off 35 balls to help Punjab Kings beat defending champions Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets and attain their second win of the season. PBKS have not had the best of starts to the season with two wins from five matches so far in IPL 2021.
Against Mumbai Indians, PBKS bowlers did well to restrict Rohit Sharma & Co. on 131 in Chennai before skipper KL Rahul's unbeaten 60 and Gayle's unbeaten 43 off 35 balls helped the team chase down the target with ease. PBKS won the game by nine wickets with 14 balls to spare.
