Guptil injured, doubtful against India
New Zealand's star opening batsman Martin Guptil might be doubtful for the crucial Twenty20 World Cup encounter against India as he has injured his toe in their opening loss to Pakistan on Tuesday in Sharjah. Kiwi coach Gary Stead revealed that Guptil has to be observed for the next 24 or 48 hours. The injury has been the second blow to the New Zealand squad after fast bowler Lockie Ferguson was ruled out of the championship following a calf muscle tear on Tuesday.
