Hardik Pandya dropped from the T20 squad
As India's new coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma started their tenure with some interesting changes in the team, Hardik Pandya can be mentioned as the first big name to have been dropped from India's T20 team against the forthcoming three-match T20 series against New Zealand, commencing on 17th November at Jaipur. Viraat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rabindra Jadeja have been rested while Varun Chakravarthy has also been dropped from the squad while leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has got into the team and Venkatesh Iyer who had a sensational IPL second-leg in Dubai has earned maiden India call-up along with Harshal Patel.
