ICC World Cup Super League is complex says, Michael Atherton
Our very own former skipper Michael Atherton still produces to say that Super League will actually be tough.
He says that this time the league is quite complicated. Why cant it be a straight forward selection. Well in this process the top 7 teams are going to book their place or spot at the event in India.
Adding on to this Atherton said “There is always logic in everything that happens, but what tends to happen is that it's incredibly complex because what you're trying to do is fit two systems together,"
He also said “You've got the ICC global events - World Cup, World T20, and what was the Champions Trophy - and you're trying to marry that with the usual bilateral series in what's called the Future Tours Programme where every team plays against each other”
