INDIA AIMS TO WIN IN THE SECOND T20

India will have to work more hard and as captain of the team, Hardik Pandya has to level up the team. He should make a situation where they definitely win against New Zealand in the twenty-twenty series which will be on the 29th of January, 2023 Sunday.

In yesterday’s match that happened on the 27th of January Friday, the pitch of Ranchi couldn’t help out the team very well in many terms. India lost in the first T20 against New Zealand by 21 runs and fans were very disappointed.

The Indian team first had a very good start, as the captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to field against New Zealand on their first T20 which was meant to be held on the pitch of Ranchi.

In the last match the careless bowling by the Indian team players, particularly by the two bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik was brought to light by the defeat. Umran, the excellent performer, gave  sixteen runs in 1 over.

If we talk about Arshdeep’s bowling he gave up twenty-seven runs in the final over of the match. Both bowlers put up pressure on the full Indian team and the batters who were chasing the runs in the match.

The youthful bowler and a left arm pacer’s costly overs proved to be the turning point of the match. This bowler was smashed with around the costly three sixes and another boundary.

If we talk about the batsmen of yesterday's match, the openers including the third-position batsmen in the Indian team only managed to score fifteen runs. These fifteen runs were a very poor start for the Indian team.

Washington Sundar, India’s all-time player has also given the statement after the game that the final score of 155 runs off nine wickets would have been a very par mark to defend on the pitch of Ranchi.

Sundar made a half-century in just twenty-eight balls but didn’t help a lot. Sunder tried to keep hope in the hearts of the Indian team and fans. He was the last batter who got out with just one ball left in the T20 innings and as easily as this New Zealand won the match.

The bowlers of the New Zealand team were star players in the match. The bowlers led by 11 runs off 2 wickets by Mitchell Santner and another who gave 31 runs and took 2 wickets named Michael Bracewell.

The captain Hardik Pandya scored 21 runs off 20 balls and another batsman Surya Kumar Yadav scored forty-seven runs off thirty-four balls. India lost the first three important wickets in just fifteen runs which were made in 3.1 overs.

However, for the second match of this T20 against New Zealand which is on Sunday the captain of the Indian team Hardik Pandya is unlikely to substitute Mukesh Kumar, who is an unproven speed bowler. The captain is more likely to support Arshdeep Singh for the next match.
