Indias Raunak Surprises World no 2 Fabiano Caruana

Raunak represented our country India and surprised the entire crowd who were present in the world-famous game of chess prodigy in competition with the most acclaimed genius in the house also known as 'Grandmaster', the Fabiano Caruana.

It was a worth it game to watch for the spectators. Moreover, A guy from the small nooks of Kanpur made an unbelievable effect grabbing eyeballs of the global grandmasters at the late Tuesday night.

Raunak also became the first player to qualify for the eight-player knockout stage. raunak qualified the championship holding on to the second position with 8.5 points whereas the first position was secured by nonother than Fabiano Caruana himself.

This was in the Speed Chess Championship Online Grand Prix.

Raunak was overwhelmed and delighted to say "I played back-to-back against the world's top players for the first time. I am doing fine but need to improve my speed, especially while playing online".


It is great to have players like Raunak in our country, who are raising the flag high.
