New Zealand captain praises high for Mitchell
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson had a high appreciation for his two batsmen James Neesham and Daryl Mitchell for their brilliant show that steered New Zealand to the Twenty20 World Cup final, trouncing pre-competition favorite England by five wickets. Mitchell struck a blitzkrieg of unbeaten 72 off 47 balls and Neesham dished out another stormy 10-ball 27 while Davon Conway also exhibited a convincing 46 and all their efforts guided New Zealand to their maiden final in the competition history. Williamson commented in the post-match conference saying Mitchell was just outstanding and Conway and Neesham had also contributed a lot.
