Plot twist pops in Stuart MacGill’s kidnapping case; girlfriend’s brother in custody

In the recent shocking turn of events, it was reported that former Australia cricketer Stuart MacGill was allegedly kidnapped from his house and threatened at gunpoint. He was abducted from his house and was taken to one corner of the city where he was mercilessly beaten and threatened. However, in the latest turn of events, there is a plot twist in his kidnapping case.

As per the reports by The Telegraph, MacGill was confronted by a 46-year-old man on the 14th of April around 8 pm. Now the reports have come out that the same man is Marino Sotiropoulos, brother of his girlfriend Maria O’ Meagher. Sotiropoulos is the owner of Aristotle’s restaurant in Neutral Bay where MacGill works as a General Manager.  It has also been found that two other men forced the former Australian spinner into a vehicle that was being driven to Bringelly in Sydney’s southwest. Police reported that he was threatened there with a firearm before being released in the Belmore area after an hour. The other two men involved are Minh Nguyen(42) and Frederick and Richard Schaaf. All the men are under police custody where they have been charged with ‘unlawfully taking or detaining someone with the intent to gain advantage causing bodily harm.’ Sotiropoulos has been charged with participating in criminal activity and also supplying prohibited drugs commercially.
