Punjab Kings provide oxygen concentrators to help India in its battle against Covid-19

India at the moment is plagued by an unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic that has wreaked havoc across the country. India has been reported more than 350,000 cases on 29th April. Still, amidst the horrible condition, the 14th edition of the IPL is underway in the country.

Several cricketers and cricketing franchises have done their bit to support India in its fight against Covid-19. While Pat Cummins donated $50000, Brett Lee contributed 1 Bitcoin to help the country fight the pandemic. The Rajasthan Royals franchise (RR) did their bit too and donated a sum of INR 7.5 Crores. And now, another franchise has followed suit. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) franchise has stated that they have pledged to donate oxygen concentrators, along with Round Table India (RTI). They concluded the tweet by stating that others can join in and help the country in whatever way possible.

“To help the fight against Covid-19 in India, PBKS has pledged to provide oxygen concentrators with the help of Round Table India! We also request everyone to join in and help in whatever way possible because together, we can,” stated the Punjab Kings franchise in their tweet.
