Rajat Patidar is on the way to replace Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer had a back injury and will be replaced by Rajat. Shreyas now cannot play in the one-day international against New Zealand; the statement said by Jay Shah the Secretary of BCCI.

Shreyas Iyer is now not playing in the third one-day international which is on Wednesday. He will be now heading the NCA which means National Cricket Academy for the management which has to be done afterward.

If we talk about the last performances of Shreyas Iyer, those were not good. He did not have a good start in the first three games as the runs made by him were just 28 and 38 in two matches..

In his absence, we think that other players like Surya will get more chances to show their skills and make his place permanent  in the team.

Rajat is a cricketer who plays for Madhya Pradesh and the Royal Challengers team of Bangalore in the IPL (Indian Premier League).  He will be playing from Wednesday in Hyderabad, against New Zealand, under the guidance of captain of Rohit Sharma.

Rajat Patidar made his debut in the year 2015. His skills are getting sharper day by day, and his performance is rising in all formats. He has been a part of the one-day international team earlier also, but his debut is yet to happen.

After seeing his earlier performances he was called up in the year 2022 for one-day internationals against the South African team. His ideal is Virat Kohli, so he wants to be like him in playing and he wants to be a very good batsman like him.

He had a breakout last year when he was playing in the Royal Challengers team of Bangalore in IPL. He made a score of 333 runs in around 8 matches. He made these runs with an average of 55.50 and also made a century and two half centuries.

He made a huge score of 112 runs in just 54 balls for the Royal Challengers team in the Indian premier league against the Lucknow SuperGiants. We did see his skills and great performance in these IPL series very nicely.

He then after some time played cricket in red-ball format for MP (Madhya Pradesh) with the scores of 85 runs against the Punjab team and 79 runs against the Bengal team and played for Ranji Trophy knockouts.

He did dynamic work by making his team Royal Challengers Bangalore win, in the Ranji Trophy knockouts for Madhya Pradesh. He made a grand total score of 658 runs after these matches, which holds second place in the batting charts.

Rajat Patidar impressed India, in his debut when he scored 319 runs in just 4 innings which we can say is a quite good and impressive score. His average was 106.33 and this is a quite good average according to a very new player who is making his debut on the ground for the very first time.
