Sai extends contracts!
Yes, the Sports Authority of India has recently extended the fresh contracts of 32 foreign coaches.
This will be issued until September 30, 2021. This is all due to the COVID which has led to a loss for the sports hence the coaches are not being made. The original contracts were supposed to end this year itself but SAI decided to increase those.
As the sports minister made an announcement with the Tokyo Olympics getting postponed. The minister said “A new coach takes time to understand an athlete and the athlete needs time to understand the training process of a coach. We don't have that kind of time now,"
Also as told by the NSF, there will be more sports added into the games.
