Selection headache for Indian selectors before South Africa tour
India's impressive show in the ongoing Two-Test series against New Zealand is likely to create a dilemma and headache among the senior committee selectors when they will be sitting to select the Indian team for their tour to South Africa. The first Test is scheduled to commence on 26th December. Former Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar and former Kiwi cricketer Simon Doull, both have opined that if Rahul Dravid goes with 16 cricketers then the selection meeting can be a marathon as it might be difficult for them to choose the team members. The situation has developed after a splendid show by new players such as Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill with the bat and Axar Patel and Mohammad Siraj with the ball.
