Sourav decides to step down from ATKMB director's post
Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to step down from the director's post of ATK-Mohun Bagan to avoid potential 'conflict of interest'. The decision has been taken after Kolkata-based corporate giant RP Sanjiv Goenka Group won the bid for the Lucknow IPL franchise for a record sum of Rs 7090 crore. The former India captain has reportedly initiated a process of relinquishing his role from ATKMB. Goenka recently commented, "I have heard that Sourav has decided to quit from Mohun Bagan completely. Anyway, he will make the announcement."
