Sourav says South Africa tour on till now
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly commented that India's tour to South Africa is still on even though the country is being gradually beleaguered by the emergence of a new variant of COVID-19. The growing concern about the spread of the new COVID-19 variant named Omicron and was first reported in South Africa. Ganguly commented, "The tour is on as things standstill now. We have time to decide. The first Test is scheduled to commence on 17th December. We will think about it." India plays the second and final Test against New Zealand in Mumbai and are scheduled to depart from there for Johannesburg on 8th or 9th December from there.
