The Kiwis aim at winning maiden Test series in India

New Zealand may have won the inaugural World Test Championship. Still, they are yet to have the taste of conquering one major part of world cricket. That is winning the Test series against India in India. The cricket specialists as well as most of the former cricketers often comment that a country's cricketing strength cannot be properly judged unless they win Test series in this sub-continent, especially in India. Kane Williamson's men as they are going to take part in the first Test of the Two-Test series against India at Kanpur on Thursday will not only chase a 33-year old winless-streak but also try to win their maiden Test series in India. New Zealand won a Test match in India for the last time in 1988 when four of the present Team India members, Virat Kohli, Pujara, Ishant Sharma, and Rahane were a couple of months old.
