Yorkshire suspends its coach on the racism issue

Yorkshire County has been rocked by the allegation of institutional racism made by former Pakistan cricketer Azeem Rafiq has suspended its coach Andrew Gale for one of his controversial tweets, sent in 2010. The club has made a statement that 'Yorkshire first eleven coaches is currently suspended pending a disciplinary hearing following a historic tweet.' One of the newspapers, Jewish News has reported that Gale who was club captain that time, sent a tweet containing 'anti-Semitic slur'. However, Gale defended his tweet saying that he was not at all aware of the offensive nature of the term when he used it in his tweet and it was deleted also at once after the posting.
