Yorkshire's new chairman appreciates Rafiq's courage

Yorkshire Club's newly appointed chairman Kamlesh Patel has appreciated Pakistan-born cricketer Azeem Rafiq for having raised his voice over racism that he had to suffer while playing for the traditional and renowned county cricket club. Rafiq even revealed that he was forced to commit suicide once out of unequal and indifferent behavior. The club however took an apology to the 30-year old former cricketer in September but surprisingly revealed they would not take any disciplinary action against any of their staff. However, Yorkshire was widely criticized with ECB suspending their rights to stage international matches at Headingley. Patel said, "Azeem is a whistleblower and he should be praised for his bravery."
