DC IPL 2021 Squads: Complete list of Delhi Capitals Players
The last season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals had performed tremendously well in the 13th edition. They clearly showed the world that they are in the league to make a statement and that they are not the team from a few years ago which could not even make it to the playoffs. This year, in the mini auction, they recruited some big names to fill in the three overseas spots they are left with. The Delhi franchise went to splurge a total of INR 9.45 cr. on Tom Curran, Sam Billings and Steve Smith.
The costliest buy for them in the auction was English all-rounder Tom Curran who they bought for a whopping INR 5.25 cr. while Sam Billings was bought for INR 2 cr. and former Rajasthan Royals captain Steve Smith was picked for INR 2.2 cr.
