Overview

One of the eight franchises found in 2008, RCB - Bangalore are the franchise cricket team representing the city of Bangalore, Karnataka which plays in the Indian Premier League. The franchise was founded by United Spirits and named after the company’s liquor brand Royal Challenge. The team’s home ground is the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The Royal challengers have finished as runners-up on three times between 2009 and 2016. The team holds the records of both highest and lowest totals in the Indian premier league 263/5 and 49 respectively.
