KKR vs RR Head to Head Match Prediction IPL 2021
RR V/S KKR (Match 18) Pre-Match Analysis (Today’s Match Prediction) VIVO IPL 2021: Captain, Vice-captain, Fantasy gaming Tips, Probable Playing XIs for Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders T20 Match at Wankhede Stadium, 7:30 PM IST Saturday April 24th 2021
Head-to-Head
What a week of Cricket we have had! Players are taking fifers in 2 overs, hitting four sixes in an over, openers are hitting hundreds! Everything exciting has happened this week and its hard to believe we have stepped into the next Super Saturday already! This Super Saturday is going to be all the more exciting because this Saturday we are going witness two teams clashing against each other for those 2 points on the board like the clash of titans! Yes, we are talking about two teams which are stationed at the bottom half of the points table – The Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals respectively sitting at the 6th and the 8th positions. Both teams are trying their best to come out of the closet and explode and are playing with some strong grit, but all has gone in vain till now. However, these are still early days in the tournament and both teams still have the time to make a strong comeback.
Rajasthan on one hand is confused with their bowling combination and have failed to fix on any one combination that works best for them. Secondly, they have failed to utilize the most costliest player in the history of IPL, Chris Morris! He can be used in so many ways but does not seem to get that chance. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have failed to make use of their batting line-up. It is only working in bits and pieces and has worsened to a point that a tail ender like Pat Cummins is scoring more runs in a match than their frontline batsmen.

Pitch Conditions
The match is going to take place at the Wankhede stadium. Wankhede has been termed as a batsman’s turf, it is really helping batsmen till the tailed and bowlers are having a nightmare throughout. The ball is coming on to the bat and a score of 200 has become a regular on this pitch in this season, anything less than that is becoming a bit risky. Both teams will have to make sure that their respective batting order fires tonight. If we talk bowling then, a team like KKR might have an advantage here, given the long line of good bowlers they might play today.
Batting:
KKR have been inconsistent with their batting this season which is turning out to be noticeably big problem for them. They are relying heavily on young Nitish Rana which is a strategy they will have to change if they wish to reach the play offs. Their top order looks good with two youngsters Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi looking in good touch, however Shubman Gill after showing a lot of promise hasn’t been able to capitalize. Eoin Morgan needs to promote himself up the order, so he has more balls to play. Dinesh Karthik and Russel can provide them a perfect finish if they fix their batting order correctly. Pat Cummins can bat, he might get a promotion up the order tonight.
RR:
Rajasthan royals look like a really formidable side when it comes to their batting. Their batting order starts really well with the likes of Sanju Samson and David Miller which is a strong point coming into a game like this when all other teams are scoring good runs and still those high scores are getting chased comfortably. They will be spoilt for choice with Jos Butler, Liam Livingstone, Ben stokes and Chris Morris. If they choose their combinations right, they can notch up 200 hundred runs on the board easily and give Kolkata Knight Riders a run for their money. Chris Morris will be a key player at the tail end and Ben stokes might miss out on today’s game.

Bowling
KKR:
One thing that every cricket expert can agree with is that KKR's forte is certainly their bowling, especially the spin bowling attack. This year, they have also included Harbhajan Singh to Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav and Shakib. Pat Cummins will lead their bowling and Russell mixes the deliveries well. Which means they do not have to heavily rely on just one bowler and there will be space for everyone to come out and rise to the occasion.

RR:
They have plenty of good options with Jofra Archer leading and Jaydev Unadkat leading their bowling attack. Along with that they have Mustafizur Rehman and Andrew Tye who can take they game away on a good day, while Kuldeep Yadav, Mayank Markande, KC Cariappa provide them with plenty of options to choose from the spin department. The Wankhede is going to be a batting friendly pitch, they will have to make sure they play their cards right and utilize their spin resources as much as they can.
