Bravo had started his journey in the IPL donning MI shirts for the first three editions of the League from 2008 to 2010 but failed to justify his repute. Once he changed jersey colors, representing Chennai Super Kings since 2011, Bravo's career changed with more brightness. The all-rounder has scored 1490 runs in 140 IPL games and claimed 153 wickets. His stint with CSK also helped him to settle in the international circuit as he became one of the vital players in the West Indies squad for their T20Is.

Shreyas Gopal

The right-arm leg-spinner, coming from Karnataka got the reward of his consistent show in the domestic circuit by being picked up by Mumbai Indians for the 2014 IPL. But he hardly got opportunities to play matches for the team. Gopal finally made a move to Rajasthan Royals for the 2018 edition of the League and started getting chances of playing matches regularly. He represented RR in 11 matches and picked up 11 wickets at an economy rate of 7.61 along with claiming 4 wickets in a match against RCB. Since then, Gopal did not have to look back. He has played in 45 IPL matches and bagged 48 wickets at an economy rate of 7.85.

Shikhar Dhawan

India's veteran opening batsman had started his career with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and scored 4 half-centuries. The 2009 and 2010 editions of the IPL witnessed the swaggering batsman playing for Mumbai Indians as he was traded by Delhi in exchange for Ashish Nehra. But Dhawan could not be able to maintain his form, delivering an underwhelming performance in both the editions before being released by Mumbai outfit in 2011. Then having switched over to Deccan Chargers during 2011 IPL Dhawan regained his touch and delivered a lot of match-winning performances. Dhawan had played a major role to help Sunrisers Hyderabad win the title in 2016, being the second-highest run-scorer for the team with 501 runs. The left-hand turbulent batsman again was bought by Delhi Capitals and continued with the same form. The IPL 2020 saw Dhawan becoming the first batsman to score back-to-back centuries in IPL. Ambati Rayudu

India’s former middle-order batsman Ambati Rayadu made his debut in IPL for Mumbai Indians in 2010 as a middle-order batsman and a part-time wicket-keeper. He was one of the title-winning MI till 2017 by which MI won three IPL titles. However, through a fresh auction for the 2018 IPL, Rayadu was roped in by CSK and he had become one of the most influencing batsmen in the franchise team since then. The IPL 2018 was a breakthrough year for Rayadu as the right-hand batsman had gathered a superb 602 runs including a century. He scored 282 in the 2019 edition of the League and the last edition of the League Rayadu also was in immaculate form, scoring 359 runs at an average of 39.88 and a strike rate of 127.30.

Yuzvendra Chahal

The right-arm leg-spinner has already proved himself one of the indispensable bowlers in the shortest format of the game. Chahal has recently overtaken Jasprit Bumrah to become India’s highest wicket-taker in T20Is with a superb 62 wickets in only 48 matches. 

Chahal played for Mumbai Indians for three seasons since 2011 but failed to settle his place in the playing eleven. He could play in only one match across the three seasons. However, after getting back into the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014 opened the gate for the leg-spinner and he never looked back. Even in the last edition of the League Chahal, having participated in 15 matches 21 wickets and in total the leg-spinner has claimed 121 wickets in 99 matches.
